Ed Curtin Basketball Camps and Clinics

*** 2008 BG Shootout - Three Man Basketball Camp

The BG Shootout 3-Person Mechanics Camp for basketball officials will be held June 19-21 at Buffalo Grove High School. Directed by Ed Curtin with Fred Allman, John Katzler, Jim Bernardi and Randy Steen serving as clinicians, the camp opens with a 3-hour classroom on Thursday, June 19 from 6-9 p.m.

Current 3-person mechanics and rules changes will be discussed. There will be games on Friday and Saturday, June 20-21, and each official will work six over two days with afternoon and evening sessions. All games are at a boys varsity level.

The clinic will satisfy the IHSA certification requirement. Officials will receive a written observation report. The fee is $70.  Click here for a registration form.

*** 3-Person Basketball Mechanics Certification Camp @ Niles North HS Boys    Varsity summer shoot-out!!

Dates:  July 10th – July 12th, 2007
Location: Niles North  High School

Thursday Evening:       
A 3-hour classroom discussion on 3-person and on-floor walk-thru
positions.

Friday & Saturday:
Officials will be assigned to work games on both Friday & Saturday.   This camp is a 6 hour certification satisfying the IHSA requirement to maintain officiating license (must be done every 3 years).

Rocky Nelson Basketball Mechanics Certification Camps

*** June 20th - Northern Basketball Officials Camp ( IHSA Certified 2 or 3 Person Mechanics Camp)

We are offering the opportunity to participate in and receive credit for a 4 hour (Level 1) or 6 hour (level 2) clinic/camp in conjunction with the Zion Benton Shootout that routinely features some of the area’s best teams. On June 20th from 6:30Pm to 9:30PM at Zion Benton H.S.
