Northern Illinois Football Officiating Mechanics Camp
The Northern Illinois Football
Officiating Mechanics Camp is designed to provide
classroom, on field training and instruction to
football officials of all levels. This Level II Certified IHSA Camp is an excellent opportunity for officials to receive one on one instruction while officiating live playing action during the Oak Park River Forest Summer Football Passing League (OPRF SPL).
Each official, beginner or veteran, will be provided with:
- New IHSA recommend football mechanics
- One on One Observation / Critique
by IHSA Certified Clinicians and Playoff
Officials
- Emphasis on mechanics and judgment while officiating live playing action
- Classroom instruction on IHSA mechanics (Date: June 6, 2007, Villa Nova Pizza, Villa Park)
Camp Schedule:
Wednesday, June 6, 2007: Classroom instruction, 6:30pm to 9:30pm, Villa Nova Pizza, Villa Park. Pizza
and soft drinks will be provided.
Monday, June 11, 2007: On Field Instruction and Game Day Procedures. 6:00pm
to 8:00pm.
Thursday, June 21, 2007: Live Game Officiating. 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Schools
scheduled to participate: St Patrick, St Viator,
Fenwick, and Oak Park River Forest.
Friday, June 22, 2007: Live Game Officiating. 8:00am to 11:00am. Schools
scheduled to participate: Naperville Central (Soph
and Varsity).
Saturday, June 23, 2007: Live Game Officiating. 9:00am to 12:00pm. Schools
scheduled to participate: Proviso East, Fenton,
Leyden, Fenwick.
Attendance at all dates are encouraged
but not required. You will be asked what days you can officiate and scheduled accordingly. In
order to receive IHSA credit for the clinic, you
must attend either the June 6th or the June 11th
session.
Cost: The cost of the camp is $95.00 which includes all instruction and materials.
